Transmission Gallery
'Here we are at the Transmission party /I love your friends /they're all so arty', and this is the gallery that inspired the line from Franz Ferdinand's single 'Do You Want To?'. Transmission hosts shows by bright young modern artists, including alumni of Glasgow School of Art.

House for an Art Lover
Among the dynamic art nouveau designs of Glasgow's most famous architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh, this is a highlight. Situated in Bellahouston Park and designed by Mackintosh in 1901, the unique House for an Art Lover was completed in 1996.

New Lanark World Heritage Site
Located on the banks of the River Clyde, some 25 miles south-east of Glasgow, New Lanark is a remarkable planned village built to fulfil the utopian ideals of 18th-century social reformer Robert Owen. Regular trains run from Glasgow Central Station to nearby Lanark.

St Mungo Museum of Religious Life and Art
Opened in 1993, St Mungo Museum celebrates religious diversity in Glasgow and around the world. The Galleries of Religious Art and Religious Life explore and elaborate upon the world's six main religions, while the Scottish Gallery is a reflection of multi-faith Scotland.
